Whitestone Gallery is delighted to announce its participation in 2023 Taipei Dangdai Art & Ideas. The gallery’s booth is at C03, where we will present works by five artists including Chen Yingjie, Philip Colbert, Kea Tsai, Ronald Ventura and Yuyelai.

Highlights include a series of new works by Chen Yingjie who created his unique languages in graffiti of Chinese-Western style. This will be his first time participating in Taipei Dangdai. Ventura features a complex layering of images and styles, ranging from hyperrealism to cartoons and graffiti.

The strong colors and flowing lines are features of Yuyelai’s works. Based on calligraphy and seal carving in her childhood experiences and the study of Eastern classical philosophy, her works are rich in ink wash painting. British artist Philip Colbert explores the patterns of digital culture and its relationship with the historical art dialogue. This time, he will show his new paintings and sculptures in Taipei Dangdai.
