Contemporary artist Yoshiaki Nakamura will be featured twice on Japanese television program “THE ART HOUSE~Will the artwork still be around for the next 100 years?~”

Nakamura is a contemporary artist who explores the points of contact and limitations in sound and communication related to sight and hearing.

The program will also broadcast the exhibition "In Between-Resonance" held at Whitestone Ginza New Gallery this summer. The show was broadcasted on August 29 and will also be broadcasted on September 5.

YOSHIAKI NAKAMURA

Yoshiaki Nakamura completed his PhD in Japanese painting at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2015 and his MFA at Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020. Nakamura's artistic vision aims to foster interconnectivity among individuals, transcending their differences and forging a harmonious understanding. He employs various mediums, such as painting, sculpture, physical space, sound, and performance, along with crafting musical instruments from everyday objects to express his creativity.
