In this exhibition, Choi focuses on the power of “colors”, which inevitably infiltrate our “sense of sight” in daily life. In creation, he gives great weight to balance and composition. Through unique patterns and textures known as “AHHI patterns”, he explores the beauty hidden in everyday life. How does the color that the artist himself is inspired by and portrayed in the work affect the “intuition” of the viewer?

INTRODUCTION
Ahhi Choi was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, in 1983. The curvilinear movement in his works is both buoyant and ecstatic, expressing the artist’s innate sense of adventure. He gained recognition after showing in New York in 2014 and has since exhibited internationally including in the United States, France, Italy, Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong. While studying in Los Angeles, he traveled through the Western United States, exploring the expansive network of National Parks, from Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, to Yellowstone. It was during this stateside excursion that the artist developed an intimate bond with the grandeur and majesty of nature. Reflecting his subconscious mind and allowing his hand to move organically across the canvas, Choi interprets the silhouettes, pictures, words and letters from the well of his memory into energetic lines that are ubiquitous throughout his work.
The synchronicity between the artist and the viewer, where the viewer feels that appreciating beautiful things as they are is more priceless than any other distracting thoughts like 'value,' says Choi The installation, which integrates “AHHI patterns” into everyday life, will give the space a sense of unity and exquisiteness, creating not only visual joy but also experience with full five senses.
It will be our great pleasure if visitors can perceive art as an extension of their 365 days of life and feel comfortable in our space. On the 1st floor, we'll primarily showcase new artworks, creating a well-organized exhibition space. On the other hand, the theme of the 2nd floor is 'the fusion of art and life,' where installations of various mediums such as three-dimensional works and everyday tools featuring 'AHHI patterns' will be arranged to represent the seamless integration of art and life.
