0 Association

In the early days of the Gutai, Jira Yoshihara's guidance was strict and his goals were not conveyed to the members, and many members withdrew from the group. Therefore, the group itself was looking for new members in order to continue its existence. In 1955, Kazuo Shiraga, Akira Kanayama, Atsuko Tanaka, and Saburo Murakami, all members of the "0 Association," joined Gutai. Their membership in Gutai led to the subsequent significant development of Gutai as a group.
