Go Ogawa, born in Kanagawa Prefecture, embarked on his artistic journey after graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2007. During the graduate exhibition, he received the Governor of Tokyo Award, which further fueled his dedication to artistic pursuits. In 2009, he completed his master’s degree, driven by his commitment to his craft. His talent and potential were acknowledged when he was accepted into the prestigious Mitsubishi Cooperation ART GATE Programme (MCAGP) in its 10th and 13th editions. Since 2011, Ogawa has actively participated as a member of the artist collective 'C-DEPOT.’ In 2013, he achieved recognition for his talent by achieving the 8th Tagboat Award.

Ogawa's art captivates audiences with his unconventional use of light and colour. By skilfully manipulating the refraction of light through prisms, he creates mesmerising visual displays that enchant the senses and evoke a profound sense of nostalgia in viewers. His works serve as a testament to the captivating beauty and emotive power of light. Drawing inspiration from various artistic movements, including Impressionism and Minimalism, Ogawa's art embodies a harmonious fusion of radical creativity and traditional art forms. Through carefully selected mediums and exquisite techniques, he pushes the boundaries of 'the disturbance and the expansion of sight.'

In recent years, Ogawa has expanded his artistic repertoire to include jewellery production. He has collaborated with Tsutaya Books China and made his stunning pieces available in Shanghai, Xi'an, and Hangzhou. The name 'GoOGAWA' has even been registered as a trademark in mainland China, signalling his work's growing popularity and recognition.
