PROFILE

Kohei Kyomori was born into a family of dairy farmers in a depopulated region of Ehime-prefecture in 1985. Based on his awareness of the asymmetrical realities between regions where population and industry are declining and overpopulated modern cities, Kyomori engages in artistic activities that explore the relationship between identity and visuality. His solo exhibitions so far include "Decor is Painless Domination" (Whitestone Gallery Seoul, 2024), and "EXPRESSION M" (Whitestone Gallery Beijing, 2023), to name a few.
