Inflatable Lobster Emerges at Marina Bay Sands

A colossal lobster has made a dramatic appearance at the Marina Bay Waterfront. Rising majestically at Clifford Square, the towering 12-meter "Lobster Fountain," adorned with a toilet bowl, draws inspiration from the virtuoso Marcel Duchamp's (1887-1968) "Fountain." Amidst the lively atmosphere of Singapore, the lobster encountered a sudden squall, briefly resting sideways. However, as the rain subsided, it ascended once more, embracing the blessings of rain along with the refreshing sea breeze.

Both lobster and sunny-side-up egg are essential motifs cherished by the artist.
