韓永旭

韓永旭於1963年出生於韓國，畢業於弘益大學，獲得繪畫學士和碩士學位。韓永旭在韓國最好的藝術專業接受學術上的訓練，專注於繪畫技巧和材質的運用，並採用了超寫實主義以及表現主義的方式表達。然而這些年來，他經常質疑繪畫的本質 – 藝術家是否在描繪圖片要他們描繪的？什麼是事實的代表和真相本身的區別？對於韓永旭而言，他選擇了用豐富的線條去表達，希望通過這些線條觀眾能看到真實的事實並且感受到前所未有的知覺。

他的繪畫主題常常是匿名的肖像，因為對他來說，這些人物反映了人類社會和生活的無常，但也從根本上蘊含了韓永旭對人文主義的愛和信念。

韓永旭的作品在2006年獲得了許多獎項，包括第七屆師任堂藝術展覽大獎、第三十四屆江源道美術展大獎。自他在首爾的Galerie Bahk舉辦首次個展以來，他已在世界各地廣泛展出，包括德國卡爾斯魯厄、美國邁阿密、日本東京和中國上海。
