KAPPAO

Kappao "섬할아버지", 2024, 25 × 12 × 22 cm, Ceramic

Kappao’s work explores themes that resonate with our everyday lives—relationships, emotions, and the small, meaningful moments that make up life. Her works often feature figures with ambiguous expressions, hinting at emotions such as curiosity, indifference, and joy.

In this exhibition, Kappao expands her exploration of everyday themes by addressing the concept of "boundaries." She examines the connections between humans, animals, plants, and nature, drawing attention to the often invisible lines that define these relationships. By blending ceramics, paintings, and installations, she blurs the boundaries between mediums and genres, creating a harmonious flow where all elements come together.
