ファン・ピン・トン
ファン・ピン・トンは1987年台湾・台北生まれ。2009年に台湾芸術大学彫刻科卒業。2010年と2011 年に台湾の現代美術木彫部門の最高賞である裕隆木彫革新金賞を 2 年連続で受賞。 2017年毓繡美術館に招かれ、個展「邂逅」を開催して話題を呼んだ。現代写実の彫刻家として有名な楊北辰のアシスタントとして数年間働いていたことも寄与し、黄の作品には実物の再解釈における見事な複写のスキルがあることが見てとれる。特に、赤ん坊みたく柔らかく小さい足は黄作品の特徴である。ふくよかな身体は生命の糧のように心に豊かさを感じさせ、木の温もりが作品を引き立てる。2022年にリリースされた新シリーズ「生命の樹」は、多肉植物が絶え間なくエネルギーを貯蔵し、強くゆっくりと成長するように、人々の心が満たされた時、心の中にある生命の木が、自信と落ち着きと活力に溢れていく様が表現されている。
