猪熊克芳
横浜美術学校などで学んだ後、故郷の福島で制作をつづける。画業に専念したのは40歳を超えてからだが、青木繁大賞(1996)、福島県総合美術展準大賞(1998)など立て続けに受賞。コーヒーパウダーなど独自のマチエールを発展させ、色面を削るなどして実現されるぼかしの情緒は、日本的ながらも極めて現代的なバランス感覚を保つ。とりわけ「イノクマ・ブルー」とも称されるウルトラマリンブルーの作品は、国内外で高い評価を得ている。2016年ホワイトストーン・ギャラリー香港ハリウッドロード店のオープニングを飾った個展は、その成熟したブルーの迫力で大きな余韻を残す。
